
Lion’s Rock Trail is one of the most popular trails in Hong Kong with beautiful view points throughout the trail. It is the most accessible hikes in Hong Kong. The Lion headed rock is the perfect place to visit sunset, but it is also famous among the night hikers. This hike is quite steep in some areas so you have to be little careful at that time .

How to get there: From Wong Tai Sin MTR station, take exit E to Wong Tai Sin Temple and walk across the road and take the minibus 18 M from here and than get down at Fat Jong Temple and walk up along the shatin pass road .
After walking around 30 minutes , you can see Lion Rock Country park, take rest for few minutes here and than ascend forward

After entering into Lion Rock Country Park, keep moving forward. There are several resting spots you will find in between so take rest there as the inclination is quite steep . You will also see so many monkeys in between so stay calm at that time and avoid feeding them or eating them in front of them.

It was a beautiful sunny day so we enjoyed all the views very nicely. After climbing the last 500 metres of the staircase phewww, you will find this board. Enjoy the view here.

As the sun was going down further, it was getting prettier and prettier , so we enjoyed our moment there in the beautiful serene environment.

After Filling all memories in your phones with pictures, keep moving the same way you came and take bus no. 18 M to the MTR station.
The best time to Hike the Lion Rock is 3 hours before the sunset, so that you can see the lovely views of the fearless Sun going down.
