Cape D’Aguilar Trail is an easy Trail with the breath taking scenic sights.

Duration: 2.5 Hours

Distance: 8.2 Kms

How to get there: Take MTR to Shau kei Wan ,get off at Exit A3 and take Bus no 9 with the below sign on the bus.

Get down at Cape D’Aguilar stop, this is the starting point of the trail  

In the beginning of the trail only you will enjoy some beautiful views.

Keep enjoying the lovely view as you walk down the trail.

There is an outdoor eatery also in the between they serve simple and light food there like toasts and tea/coffee.

After walking few steps you will find PCCW Radio Station. You are prohibited from entering the radio station as it is a restricted area, so walk on the adjacent lane to the other side of the radio station.

Cape D’ Aguilar Marine Reserve:

The marine reserve of Cape D’Aguilar is named after Sir George Charles D’Aguilar who was the Lieutenant Governor of Hong Kong and Commander of the British Forces in Hong Kong from 1843 to 1848.

Keep walking towards the marine Reserve, you will get to see a skeleton of the Whale.

The large rocky slope

Gazing down from this rocky slope offers a splendid view of Shek O. Keep ascending forward you will see Crab cave. 

Crab Cave

The name is given to this rock as it looks like a crab .Enjoy the sound of the waves lashing at the rocks. Such a serene experience.

Strong Waves

It was a sunny day, so we enjoyed a beautiful sunset there !!

Keep walking the same way back and take bus no 9 to Shau kei wan Station !!
